So we have to create a poster for Native American Heritage Month. Rusty didn't really like this one (probably because he doesn't like to party) at all and thought the concept might be a little offensive, but what isn't now a days. But this is my blog and I like it so it is going up here. I'm sure there will be another one with a new concept.

Food Spreads
These are two other magazine spreads we had to design, both of them obviously having to deal with food. I'm not sure which one I like better yet, but I think Rusty likes the bottom one better. Both need a few changes before they get approved.
This as an article about stress we had to redesign. We had to do one with a photo someone else shot (top) and one that we shot (bottom). Rusty then picked the one he liked for us to keep working on. He choose the top one and it got approve. I kinda liked designing these more than some of the other things we have done. Maybe this is a sign I am destined to design magazine spreads....or not.
Highway 63 Newsletter
This was our first spread we had to do. It was an old newsletter in support for a new Highway. We had to redesign it using only grayscale and no images. This one involved a lot of typesetting. This one got approved, because I rock.
Jazz Combo Concert Poster
This is a poster for a Jazz Combo Concert held here at Truman. Had to use a high contrast vector object and only one spot concert with black. This one got approved by Rusty.
Kirksville Arts Association Poster
We had to create a poster for an art event held in Kirksville. We were only allowed to use grayscale and had to use at least one vector object. Rusty wasn't a fan of it, but what does he know.
