Round 2

Round 2 of these 10 drawings per class thing. This time we had to do 10 drawings of the same thing, just different styles. I did a beer bottle, and when I was done I drank it. It was delicious. From now on all my drawings are going to be of alcohol, and when I am done I am going to drink it all. I think next drawing I am going to do a 24 pack. Here are the 10 drawings.

Bonus post again, a tablet drawing of one of these drawings. I tried a different style, but I kind of blew it. But oh well better luck next time right?

Oh Hello, Back Again

Well it is about that time again. The time for fun Illustration time. I of course am just reusing the blog I have been using since Vis Comm 2 and that I used for my internship, so for those of you who have ever looked at this thing I welcome you back. Second stab at Illustration this semester, let's try not to blow it this time. First assignment was 10 line art drawings at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Not my favorite drawings but NBD (No Big Deal).

Little surprise bonus, my super shitty (can I curse on here?) tablet drawing. I hate it and it is miserable. I am only blogging it so Rusty knows how much I hate it. First time using a tablet, maybe if I knew what I was doing I would not have blown it. In time my friends.

Day 21 at Media Development

So I just realized that I think this is my last post for my internship. I did not realize how short it would be. I feel bad because I have a lot of more work I wanted to post on here. For those 4 views or so I get a day, I will try and keep my work updated. Other than that though I do not have much else. So far it has been a great experience and I have learned a lot that I could not have learned at school. Once again, another 8 hours for me today.

Day 20 at Media Development

This morning me and Tim just had to print things off and get things ready to present for a meeting with a client about their new look. This is the third meeting I have been to with this client so it i cool to see the process unfold. The meeting then lasted until about 12:30 but they finally got it narrowed down to one logo. They started working on this project before I got here so I did not get to design logos but I have been able to design applications of the logos. Its a little frustrating though because I want to post pictures of all my work on here but I can't until things are 100% completed so there is a lot of work that will be awhile before I can post it. Another 8 hours today.

Day 19 at Media Development

Today was a lot a little things, so I didn't get any one big thing done. I mostly though just worked on applications of a logo to show the client at a meeting tomorrow. I am also famous now and in a commercial, so if I am allowed to I will post that up here. Another 8 hours today.

Day 18 at Media Development

Today started out usual, just working on updating brochures and what not. But after lunch it was slightly different. We started to film a commercial in our office. It features interviews so we did it in front of our green screen. It was interesting for me because I got to run the camera and help out, so that was cool. Another 8 hours for me today.

Day 17 at Media Development

Today we had a meeting with the client about the logos, she narrowed it down some so we are going to continue working on those. She wasn't a huge fan of some of mine so maybe I can get those up here soon.  The rest of the day I worked on a invitation for someone who is retiring. It needed to be done soon but I still tried to do something fun with it since I don't get to use full color much. But here is what they ended up going with. Another 8 hours again today.
